Carolina Hurricanes forward Scott Walker is heading to Washington in exchange for a 7th round draft pick.

Detroit Red Wings have sent forward Khris Newbury to the Rangers for Jordan Owens. Both have spent much of this season down in the AHL.

Phoenix have sent the slumping former 1st round pick Peter Mueller and forward Kevin Porter off to the Avalanche in exchange for Wojtek Wolski.

Canuck d-man Mathieu Schneider has been sent to Pheonix in exchange for Sean Zimmerman and 6th round pick.
