In between the 891 CTV Olympic promos (DID YOU KNOW THE OLYMPICS START ON FRIDAY?), Drew Brees was able to lead his New Orleans Saints past Peyton Manning and his Colts to a 31-17 victory.

It was a close game that oddly flipped the Saints way on defense. Both teams were hailed for their stunning offense coming into the big game, but oddly enough it was Tacy Porter's fourth quarter interception that won the Saints the game and their franchise's first Super Bowl.

We'll follow-up with more coverage and hopefully the best of the Super Bowl ads that ran in the US (not Olympic promos). For now you can check out this year's banned Super Bowl ads.

So happy for the Saints and new orleans.....as for the Olympic theme music on ctv ads....I'm So-o-o-o-o sick of it already, I may have to pass on watching......I have a headache.

Well, Roger GODdell & the NFL got what they wanted and that was NO to win. It was a good game but I will say that the lack of referreing was a problem. NO not having a penalty until almost the last 2 min, go figure. They called for penalties and got them some questionable miscalls against the Colts but whatever. Not saying a fix but there was lots of talk about it leading up to the game. I guess the refs just saw it as NO being a perfect team. Hope he enjoys it because the league is coming to a standstill after next year.

get a life doons. was I watching the same game as you????

Losers always blame the refs. Nothing to see here.

billy did the refs cause that interception by a known choker in big games by the name of Peyton Manning.... c'mon bro stop with the excuses already
