Olympic flame commemorates Remembrance Day with stop at Canadian Forces base - The torch relay for the 2010 Winter Games will move from Sept-Iles, Quebec, Wednesday morning to the town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador, Wednesday night. CFB Goose Bay is operated by the Canadian Forces Air Command and while the Olympic flame is there, it will be carried by a 20-person team of all ranks. Hope you are all rocking a poppy.

Leafs forgot to show up last night - The work-in-progress Toronto Maple Leafs took a big step backwards Tuesday night after two weeks of steady gains, following up one of their best performances of the season with one of their worst. It was so painful to watch the Leafs last night that I actually changed the channel to 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Ogilvy says Tiger will enjoy a chance to play 'old-style' golf - The sun-baked fans let out a cheer Wednesday when Tiger Woods pulled his driver from the bag, a rarity at the Australian Masters on the shortest golf course he has played all year. Tiger will do just fine I think.

Southern Ontario team an option for NHL: Daly - Deputy NHL commissioner Bill Daly on Monday attempted to close the book on any debate the Toronto Maple Leafs own a veto to prohibit a team to set up shop in nearby Hamilton. Oh great, this again.

Germany goalkeeper Enke left a suicide note, police say, as fans mourn - Enke died Tuesday night when he was hit by a train outside Hannover, where he played his club football. His agent has said it was a suicide. Police spokesman Stefan Wittke would not reveal where the note was found, but said all evidence pointed to suicide. Uh... sad?
