Agassi admits drug use - Andre Agassi's upcoming autobiography contains an admission that he used crystal meth in 1997 and lied to tennis authorities when he failed a drug test - a result that was thrown out after he said he "unwittingly" took the substance. Damn Ags. When did tennis get so hardcore?

H1N1 hits the NHL - The Colorado Avalanche confirm that backup goalie Peter Budaj has swine flu. The way professional athletes live their lives (always around each other, in dressing rooms, hotels, etc...) I can imagine everyone on the Avs is currently waiting in line for their shot.

The Raptors are International - An off-season overhaul added to the Toronto Raptors' international flavour, but the club was just keeping with a growing NBA trend. Does this mean we'll have to sit through 5 National Anthems before every game?

The big bats will come out to play - Rodriguez, Howard bring star power, big bats to Phillies-Yankees World Series. This World Series is going to be a slug-fest. A SLUG-FEST I TELL YA!

Price ok with back-up role... for now - Carey Price clearly doesn't enjoy watching games from the bench, but with his Montreal Canadiens riding a four-game winning streak he sees no reason for head coach Jacques Martin to call on his services just yet. The Habs are looking good thanks to their off-season shopping spree, now if only they could get consistent goal tending out of Price, they'd be looking much better.

well Agassi's in the book selling business now, so he's gotta do what he can to sell more books; just wait 'til he starts naming names like Jose Conseco did...
