While John Daly may have failed in his attempt to qualify for the U.S. Open, he did find success in blinding the few that came out to watch.
Besides seeing a healthy, dedicated Daly, the only other positive about his comeback seems to be the vibrant advertising for Loudmouth Golf.
They are the company responsible for supplying Daly with his rather colourful golf attire. Peter Dawson, the chief executive of the R&A, was asked whether Daly's vibrant pants would be allowed in the clubhouse at St Andrews, had this to say:
“That's a
hypothetical question. I can't see our members ever wearing such trousers.”
I honestly would love to see people rock this look out on the local muni with groups looking more like a chain gang than a weekly foursome.
I can't see myself wearing them (my height already draws enough attention to my wonky golf swing), but would you have the golf balls to wear these visually stimulating slacks?
WOW!!
love it, love it, love it!!!
way to go John. look forward to watching you play.
cheers

Reminds me a bit of the 70's golf attire.
Bring it on.

If I can distract and give people nausea as I play, I am combining 2 things I enjoy and were born to do which are Golf and Annoying people. I saw their online catalog and noticed that they have removed some of their selection. My only suggestion is to make some gaudier apparel.

Love the outfit!!! Bring golf fashion back to golf. I would wear them alternating with my plus-fours (knickers) that I got at "golfnickers.ca" as I believe that golf shold be entertaining when you play as poorly as I do!

If you remember one of the most colorful golf pro's ever made a statement with his dress and we to this day admire his knickers and flash. Golf needs something other then Tiger Woods red shirt on sundays to bring attention.

This is alright, but nothing compared to Payne Stewart. He was the Man when it came to attire...I miss him.

I would wear them in a heartbeat just to mess with the minds of the narrow minded people that think golf has to be boring.............let us go back to having fun.....

way to go I quit the game because it got old and tired and dull
this brings back a bit of life , if you could eliminate 5 hour ronds and $150 + green fees you could be onto something

To bad John failed to qualify for the US Open. I own a pair of Loudmouth pants, and they are pretty loud. I would recommend only low handicap players to wear these threads as one can look pretty foollish pretty fast if your hacking in the rough wearing these pants! Stick to the beige Dockers and work on your game instead.

Hey.....John ...I don't care what ur wearing ..please ..please try and make it back on tour ....that's what I do care about and want to see and watch the only guy that will play and attack any golf course on the face of the earth....I look forward to ur return .....come on ...golf is boring without U.........win ..place ....place or show .

Golf shirts alone have to be one of the worst fashion statements ever, so kudos to John for wearing the loud checks below the belt. It's hard to take any criticism seriously from the bastions of a sport whose most prestigious tournament winner gets to don an ugly green jacket, circa 1970s Kmart.

Way to go John........love the way you don't much care about what the stiffs of golf think. Good to see someone who isn't afraid to be themselves. Hope to see you back on tour soon.
