Regrets... Wang's Had A Few: New York Islanders owner Charles Wang told a Newsday reporter that if he had to do it all over again, he probably wouldn't buy the Long Island-based NHL franchise. That probably has a little less to do with how spirit-crushingly awful the on-ice product has been, than the $208.8 million Wang's dumped into the team since buying it in 2000. Pretty sure Alexei "Yes, it's a turtleneck" Yashin's contract is somewhere on that regret list, too.

No More for Naslund?: The New York Post is reporting that Markus Naslund informed Rangers GM Glen "Strongly Worded Letter" Sather that he would not be playing out the last year on his two-year, $8-million contract, signed last summer.
