In his latest 'Dripping Dimes' column, Tim Chisholm touches on the now-fading dream of landing LeBron in New York. But the good news is that the possible back-up plan is a damn good one. Kobe has an opt-out option in his contract this
summer, and even before the club's recent troubles he was expected to
exercise it so he could lock himself in to a longer, more lucrative
deal.
